Alfa Exchange in Deira Dubai – ALFA EXCHANGE was founded in the year 2008, with full operation started in the year 2009. The Company was established by Mr. Mohammad Abdel Aziz Dawood Mohammad Tahir, a young entrepreneur from UAE. The Company was established to be run by the Board of Management, the qualified people from the Banking and Foreign Exchange Business. The sponsor further hired the staff through the support of the BOM to smoothly run the operation. The Company has completed the four years of Business and during the period established itself as an upper mid tier Foreign Exchange and Remittance Company. The primary focus of the Company has been Cash Management and Payment Services and the objective was to formulate a strategy to help support the Retail and Mid Tier SMEs customers, referred as the Corporate Customer of the Exchange Company.

The Company is primarily engaged in the services of Payment Services and Cash Management – Buying and Selling of FCY / LCY. The Company has come a long way and presently is enjoying a very high turnover.

The Company has developed the relationships on sound Management, Strong Systems, Steady Operational Methodologies and Continuous Review of Compliance/Due Diligence Policies. The Company has the team of qualified first line managers, who have been interacting with the Retail / Corporate Customers and bridging the gap between the Company Customers and Institutions and thus providing an excellent support. This over the years has developed a solid background of the Company with the Financial Institutions which is based on TRUST, CONFIDENCE, MUTUAL INTEREST, COMMITMENT AND OPERATIONAL HARMONY. ALFA EXCHANGE functions under a professional and qualified management. The Company works through the Management Committee consists of senior members. The committee is a strategic and decision making body which plans on the medium to long term. The Company is headed by the General Manager, a qualified by profession ex banker. The Management Committee members come from the rich banking and financial management background from diversified fields including Foreign Exchange / Treasury, Corporate Credit & Marketing, Operations and Retail Banking. The combined experience of the members is more than fifty years, which provides the Company a very formidable and sound platform to work.
The Company functional activities under the different Business and Support Divisions run through the qualified managers. All Managers of the Company are qualified Business and Commerce Graduates having very decent experience. The Company has specialized areas like, Treasury, Operations, Customers Service / Marketing, Compliance and Remittances. The Finance/Accounts/Audit takes care of all post operative activities. The Company works on highly professional grounds and the senior managers play a pivotal role in the controls and growth of the Company. All Managers are supported by the teams and the authority triggers down to make the team competent, effective and efficient.
