Dr. Dana Al-Hamwi, a clinical Dietitian, received her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Damascus and earned her Master’s degree specializing in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sheffield in the UK.
Dr. Al-Hamwi is a member of many professional societies including: the British Nutrition Society, North American Association for the Study of Obesity, and Damascus Medicine Association.
With a reputation for results in a short time, Dr. Al-Hamwi is a sought-after Dietitian specializing in “real life nutrition”. She has been featured on many TV and radio stations throughout the Arab world and she has her weekly segment on MBC and on Dubai TV. She appeared on The Syrian national TV and on several magazines. Dr.Al-Hamwi now is the Clinical Dietitian of Emirates Diabetes society.
Presentations are a large part of Dr. Al-Hamwi’s career; she has given numerous presentations at major medical meetings and institutes.
