At Mothers Pride Early Learning Centre, we aim to provide holistic development of our child through our enriched curriculum and vast teaching methods. Mothers Pride Early Learning Centre is intrinsically a space that has been well thought of both in its philosophy and methodology to bring about a radical change in the way needs of children must be nurtured. We offer our child the very best in pre- KG and early childhood education, in a safe learning environment. Curriculum And Activities
MPELC follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum ensuring that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. Teaching and learning is promoted in a manner to ensure kids have a very strong foundation for future progress and are ready for school.
Our curriculum will encourage children to be actively involved in the learning process and experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities. They will be exposed to hands on activities, field trips, music and movement, art and craft, as well as early language, literacy and numeracy material. We will ensure that through our themed related curriculum and a wide range of activities we cover all the aspects of a child’s development namely Health and Physical, Intellectual, Language, Socio-emotional, Cognitive, Artistic and Creative, Socialisation, Values and Environment Sciences.
Type of Curriculum:
EYFS follows seven areas of learning and development that shape educational programmes in early years settings. All areas are important and inter- connected.
Communication and language development which involves giving children opportunities to experience a rich language environment, to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves and to speak and listen in a range of situations. They will learn listening and attention, understanding and speaking.
Physical development which involves providing opportunities for young children to be active and interactive, and to develop their co-ordination, control and movement. Children will be helped to understand the importance of physical activity, and to make healthy choices in relation to food. They will learn moving and handling, health and self- care.
Personal, social and emotional development which involves helping children to develop a positive sense of themselves and others, to form positive relationships and develop respect for others, to develop social skills and learn how to manage their feelings, to understand appropriate behaviour in groups and to have confidence in their own abilities.
Literacy Development which involves encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write. Children are provided with a wide range of reading materials such as books, poems and other written materials to ignite their interests.
Mathematics which involves providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting and understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems, and to describe shapes, spaces and measures.
Understanding the World which involves guiding children to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find about people, places, technology and the environment.
Expressive arts and design which involves enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, tools and techniques, experimenting with colour, design, texture, form and function, as well as providing opportunities and encouragement for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play, and design and technology.
Levels of Classes:
Settling: To make the transition from home to school easier for the child, we have a specially designed settling zone where we organize interesting activities to keep the atmosphere upbeat for little children till he/she becomes familiar with the surroundings and the teachers.
Pre- Nursery: Children between 2+ to 3 years will be sent to an organized group called the Pre- Nursery. A wide range of activities will be conducted to stimulate the mind and inculcate independent behaviour.
Pre-KG/Foundation: Children of 3 to 4 years of age will be sent to Foundation class. They will be given exposure to more complex activities and inculcate life skills like confidence, communication, arts and crafts and child development activities.
Scholars: Children of 4 to 6 years of age will be sent to Prep where emphasis will be laid on well planned activities which contribute to the achievement of early learning goals. This group will provide day care facility to school going kids.
Facilities will be designed to provide safe and pollution free surroundings. The centre will have an infrastructure support for child’s physical, creative, intellectual, peaceful growth around all five windows of learning.

– An indoor play area that are linked to physical milestones.
– Closed room for story weaving and sleeping.
– Space for parent gathering.
– Well- equipped library.
– Open ended learning class rooms with child friendly flooring and a bent towards child size material.

– Music and movement arena
– Audio visual and workshop area.
– Quaint spaces for wellness, yoga, reading, calm corners and sleeping room.
– CCTV for monitoring.
– Special Arabic classes.
– Water bodies for play and calm viewing.
– Full- time DHA registered nurse with equipped clinic.

Children at MPELC will be led to a path of observation and participation. We will play the role of caregivers by encouraging and nurturing talents and will serve as an arena where a child forms initial routines and early habits. Children will also be exposed to an interaction with nature through outdoor trips.
