• Advanced General & Minimal Access Surgeries
Minimal access surgery is performed with one or more small incisions instead of a large incision. The surgeon passes a telescope with video camera through a small incision (usually only 1/4″ long) into a body cavity. The surgeon then views the surgery on a TV monitor. Surgical instruments are then passed through other similar little incisions. The surgeon examines and operates by viewing magnified images on a television.
• Hernia Clinic
Anybody can get a hernia – Hernia affects men and women, boys and girls, and many babies are born with them. In adults the only treatment for a hernia is surgical and most physicians believe people avoid treating their hernias because they fear painful surgery. Today, there is little reason to fear. Hernia surgery is usually performed on an outpatient basis and patients are able to return to most normal activities in a matter of a few days.
• Varicose Vein Clinic
Varicose veins are twisted, enlarged veins that you can see just under the surface of the skin. The veins most commonly affected are those in your legs and feet.
Varicose veins are caused by weakened valves and veins in your legs. When these valves do not work as they should, blood collects in your legs, and pressure builds up. The veins become weak, large, and twisted.
• Breast Clinic
Breast cancer develops when one malignant cell starts dividing in an uncontrolled manner from the lining of the breast ducts. As the cells divide, they create a lump which can be felt by the patient if the lump happens to be superficial, if the lump is small or deep, then it is hard to detect with your fingers and must be discovered early with periodic mammograms or ultrasounds.
• Obesity Clinic
Obesity is a chronic, debilitating, life-long disease. In today’s fast paced world coupled with hectic schedules and tighter deadlines, one’s health takes a backseat and most of us fall into the trap of unhealthy eating habits leading to obesity, which has adverse and sometimes permanent effects on the human body.
